He currently serves as an associate editor of the <strong><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><a research is characterized by using digital footprints to quantify human behavior and analyze mental states.<br \/>In the early stage of the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Lin utilized real-time findings showing that the less frequently people in different countries searched for \u201chandwashing\u201d online, the faster the spread of the pandemic.<br \/>These important results were not only published in the toptier journal <span style=\"color: #333333;\"><em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencedirect.com\/science\/article\/pii\/S0889159120304748\" style=\"color: #333333;\">Brain, Behavior, and Immunity<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/span>, but were also widely reported by international media such as Reuters and major domestic media outlets.<\/p><p>During his time as a medical student, Dr. Lin conducted research using himself and his classmates as study subjects, applying heart rate variability to analyze the physical and mental health of on-call interns.<br \/>The research results were featured in a special report on the website of the authoritative textbook Principles and Practice of Sleep Medicine and were also specially covered by domestic media.<br \/>The Legislative Yuan and Control Yuan, in hearings and forums discussing physician stress, have both cited the research findings of Dr. Lin\u2019s team.<br \/>While serving as a resident physician at National Taiwan University Hospital, his clinical case report was published in the American Journal of Psychiatry.<\/p><p>During his doctoral studies, Dr. Lin developed a background program that records smartphone usage patterns, and the core technical paper has been cited more than 500 times in international journals.<br \/>He also developed the \u201c<span style=\"color: #333333;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/journals.sagepub.com\/doi\/full\/10.1089\/cyber.2019.0085\" style=\"color: #333333;\">Smartphone Addiction Scale<\/a><\/strong><\/span>\u201d which has been cited more than 900 times in international academic literature to date, and currently has versions in more than twenty languages, including German, French, Spanish, and Italian.<br \/>Dr. Lin has developed cloud-based mobile applications (apps): \u201c<span style=\"color: #333333;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.yuhsuanlinlab.app\/?page_id=8824\" style=\"color: #333333;\">Rhythm<\/a><\/strong><\/span>,\u201d which automatically records sleep patterns, and the fully automated work-hour recording system \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.yuhsuanlinlab.app\/?page_id=1716\"><strong><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Work Hours Tracker<\/span><\/strong><\/a>.\u201d<br \/>These have not only obtained multiple domestic and international patents, but related papers have been published in important journals on digital \/>In recent years, he has participated in research evaluating healthcare workforce issues at the National Health Research Institutes and has received the NHRI \u201c<span style=\"color: #333333;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/pd.nhri.edu.tw\/112-nhri-research-award\/\" style=\"color: #333333;\">Young Investigator Research Award.<\/a><\/strong><\/span>\u201d<\/p><p>Dr. Lin authored <span style=\"color: #333333;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/hochi.meepshoper.com\/products\/061a6fa6-b0d8-42ec-8e91-a1273d362d7d\" style=\"color: #333333;\"><strong>\u300a\u63a2\u7d22\u5927\u8166\u7684\u6703\u8ac7\u5730\u5716\u300b<\/strong><\/a><\/span>, which integrates neuroscience with clinical communication skills, and it is currently designated as a textbook in many institutions and graduate programs for psychiatry trainees, nursing, psychology, social work, and occupational therapy. The <span style=\"color: #333333;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/InterviewMap\/\" style=\"color: #333333;\">fan page<\/a><\/strong><\/span> of the same name has become one of the most popular social platforms in the Mandarin-speaking world for introducing professional psychiatric knowledge.<br \/>Dr. Lin is also a pioneer in Taiwan in promoting science communication through podcasts, having established the <strong><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nhri.edu.tw\/eng\/\" style=\"color: #333333;\">National Health Research Institutes<\/a><\/span><\/strong> podcast channel, for which he received the \u201cAdministrative Innovation and Service Contribution Award.\u201d<\/p><p>Dr. Lin frequently gives lectures in campuses, communities, and workplaces, actively builds platforms for industry\u2013academia collaboration, promotes community health, and assists in formulating related policies.<br \/>He also promotes the \u201cEmployee Assistance Program (EAP),\u201d which has become popular among multinational corporations in recent years.<br \/>In his spare time, he enjoys <span style=\"color: #333333;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/Sf71pE-Ao_A\" style=\"color: #333333;\">classical music (click to watch Dr. Lin perform Liszt\u2019s Dedication on the piano)<\/a><\/strong><\/span> and board games.<br \/>He previously served as the concertmaster of the Chang Gung University String Orchestra and is a 6th-dan Go player certified by the Chinese Taipei Go Association, with his commentaries appearing in columns of The Reporter and The News Lens.<\/p><div style=\"text-align: start;
